2024 Beijing International Automobile Exhibition

Mercedes-Benz A number of heavyweight models were unveiled

Mercedes G-Class

Mercedes-Benz, a leader in the luxury car segment, brought a number of new models to the show, and in addition to the world premiere of the all-electric Big G, the new Mercedes-Benz G500 and the new Mercedes-AMG G63 also attracted quite a bit of attention.

The new G500 is fitted with a 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder engine with dual supercharging from the exhaust gas turbocharger and electric auxiliary supercharger, with a maximum power of 330 kW, maximum torque of 560 Nm, and an acceleration time of just 5.4 seconds from 0-100km/h. The new AMG G63 is equipped with a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbocharged engine, with an acceleration time of just 4.3 seconds.

Meanwhile, the new car also comes with an upgraded Burmester® 3D surround sound audio system with optimised speaker layout, six new channels and a speaker with ambient lighting in the roof liner, paired with Dolby Atmos.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class

In addition to the G-Class models, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Sedan was also presented at the show with 2 models, the S 580 Extreme Night Edition and the S 680 Extreme Night Edition. These two models feature avant-garde and bold Night Edition components with black chrome detailing, exuding a distinctive glamour. Inside, the exclusive herringbone pattern dark brown open-pore walnut wood trim was selected to highlight the sophisticated design.

Toyota Sienna/Gravia Experience

Models on display at the Toyota booth included the 2024 Xena 2.5L Hybrid Platinum and the 2023 Gravia 2.5L Hybrid Premium Well-Being PLUS Edition.

In terms of interior, the new Saina model adopts a more luxurious design, and the second row of seats is upgraded to the same premium one-piece airline seats as the million-dollar Elfa, which are equipped with 16-point massage, ventilation and heating and other luxury features, so that the passengers can enjoy a comfortable ride and feel the ultimate luxury experience at the same time. In addition, the car system has been upgraded to 8155 chip, which supports remote driving function and is compatible with Apple CAR PLAY, Huawei HI CAR, Baidu CAR LIFE and other connectivity methods, which makes the driver's driving experience more intelligent and convenient. And in terms of price, it is down from 23 years, which makes it very competitive among MPVs of the same type.
